Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib Not Sorry For Cursing Out President Trump
When speaking to a leftist group on Thursday, newly sworn-in Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib had no qualms about using profane language when calling for the impeachment of President Trump.
"And when your son looks at you and says, 'Mama look, you won. Bullies don't win,' and I said, 'Baby, they don't,' because we're gonna go in there and we're going to impeach the motherf****r," Tlaib said Thursday.
Now it’s clear she feels absolutely no remorse for her completely inappropriate choice of words, after tweeting this:
I will always speak truth to power. #unapologeticallyMe— Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) January 4, 2019
This is not just about Donald Trump. This is about all of us. In the face of this constitutional crisis, we must rise.— Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) January 4, 2019
We all have every right to express our opinions and debate our personal and policy differences, but name-calling is never acceptable. It's not okay when President Trump does it and it's not okay when a freshman member of Congress does it. Period.
Additionally, I’m sure Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s constituents aren’t thrilled that she’s spending so much time trying to sabotage President Trump rather than focusing on what’s best legislatively for them. She should put policy before politics.
